   Having read "The Secret File on John Birch" by James and Marti Hefley, I can't wait to read this Birch biography. I cannot think of one American more deserving of being celebrated as exemplary of what it means to be an American, or should mean, than American Missionary and Military Hero John Birch. Too bad his murderous death was covered up by pro-communist State Department partisans for if it weren't, a totally different stand in our relations with the communist Chinese may have allowed our most loyal ally ever, Chaing Kai Chek, to bring to China the freedom those people so rightly deserved and desired. Now, thanks to pro-Communists in our State Department, we have a very powerful enemy in China. If Americans were allowed to know, in 1945, the truth of John Birch's murder, this one event may have turned the tide of history in favor of freedom and liberty for all. (Posted on 6/20/08)
